Have a Great Summer!

Dear 4th Grade,

I hope that this year has been as good for you as it has for me. You have made my first year as a teacher a very pleasant experience, and I learned more from you this year than I did from my 4 years at college. We have learned about pirates and oceans. We have learned about flowers and trees. We have learned all of our multiplication facts and even started to do some geometry. We have learned about the Presidents and the Constitution. We have learned about computers. We have explored topics using WebQuests. Most of all, we have learned about each other! Our fieldtrip last week to the Ropes & Challenges course proves that we have learned how to work together as a community.

You are all ready to move on to 5th grade.

I know that you are all ready for the summer to begin, and I encourage you to continue to read and explore this summer. If you don't have a library card, get one! You can sign up for internet time at the local library. You will have to have these books read next year for Mrs. Morgan's class:

If you need any help finding these books, you can always email me. You can email me for anything. Thank you for a wonderful year, 4th graders-- I mean, 5th graders!
